ENTROPY Painting

Our universe has a common root. From the dimensions of an atom to the daily visible immense cosmological abyss, its expansion is also transformation, transition from one state to another, in a constant search for thermal balance. Entropy can be defined precisely as the measure of this balance. Root and destination, entangled together. A paradox of signs and materials. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be transformed. But even in its transformation, a part of it is irremediably lost. The pastel will never be able to go back to its initial status. A tale of the irreversibility of the stroke, measure of before and after. “Entropy” is a work as linear at the visual level as it is complex on the conceptual one, which abandons the figurative horizon to become metaphor, a bridge between the reasons of art and the laws of physics.
