About The Artwork
The goddess of dawn herself, Eos, opened the gates of heaven for the Sun to rise every morning. As she cracks the wooden door is open beams of golden light spill out onto the world, represented by the golden geometries on the main shape and the overlaps. The colour palette represents dawn, as the black night makes way to the day. The round circles allude to the chariot of Helios getting ready to ride the sun through the day.
