About The Artwork
A series of abstract works on the theme of the mythology of the Siberian peoples. The upper god of Ket mythology Es. In his image, they personified the sky and the phenomena of nature associated with it - thunder (Eş deşij, "Especially screams" - a phrase pronounced during thunder), lightning, clouds and even the northern lights - "fire of the sky - Esya". The sky itself is called in Ket "Esevaya skin" (Eşt holәt).
