My name is Oksana Shkrebets. I am Ukrainian. In 2016, I received a master's degree in medical physics, but it was not my passion, so I searched for my way for a long time. I have been living and working in Poland since 2019. Since 2020, I started doing watercolor painting, and later oil painting. I find myself captivated by the mesmerizing medium of watercolor. Its uncontrolled nature, fluidity, and vibrant qualities serve as the essence of my creative expression. Within my artistic practice, I predominantly focus on painting flowers, as they serve as a constant source of inspiration for me. Through my artwork, I aspire to capture the fleeting moments of beauty and bring them to life, creating an everlasting visual dialogue between the viewer and the painting. Ultimately, my goal is to convey the boundless beauty and unwavering spirit of flowers, allowing them to serve as a metaphor for our own capacity to bloom and flourish, regardless of the challenges we face. My paintings live in private collections in Canada, USA, Mexico, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Cyprus, Australia and Ukraine.
