About The Artwork
A contemporary impressionism oil painting of a park. An impression painting. A man cycling while his dog leads the way down the path of the park in the early evening, The park is quite and colourful.. I painted this from my recent memory of a walk through a park. I want to inspire the viewers of my work to keep or look for the positivism, neutrality and colour in my landscape impressionism work and help them take it into their everyday or maybe return to that happy place be it in a dream, a memory or a Sunday drive. I think, dream, see, I step outside my door and I am inspired to paint. I paint a simple message of positivism, neutrality and colour. I just paint the colours I wish to see.

I was Born in 1968 in Co. Tipperary, Ireland and now live and paint in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath. As a child, I demonstrated a flare for painting and drawing. I dreamed of becoming a painter. I have been painting since 1999 and predominantly a self-taught artist, studying art in my own time, attending gallery openings, art exhibitions, and fairs. I developed my talent with practice over time and my passion for painting went from hobby to profession. My artwork is a blend of rich colours and bold textures. My hometown in Templemore, with its beautiful park and lake scenery provided the foundation for my artistry. My love of travel and nature have hugely influenced my work which is inviting and vivid. I now live and paint in Kilbeggan, Co. Westmeath, Ireland
