Evening lamentations Painting

Beatrise is a painter living in Europe, Latvia. Having an education in Human Rights and Politics, she has also painted her whole life since her mother is a visual artist as well. Beatrise's painting are inspired by every day life scenes and observations. She likes capturing fleeting moments that include reflective surfaces and a play of lights and shadows. All her paintings are in colourful and bright, and there is beauty even if for a fleeting moment. The main purpose of Beatrise's painting is to capture and pass on joy for life to the viewer. "There is so much to be upset about in this world, but I choose to notice and paint the joyful, peaceful and playful moments, " says Beatrise about her art.
