"Evening" Painting

I am an artist, architect and interior designer of Ukrainian origin, currently living in the Czech Republic. I studied at the Mihály Munkácsy School of Fine Arts and the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Ukraine. My education in fine arts and architecture has deeply influenced my worldview and given me a sensitivity for composition, space, structure and atmosphere.
Painting has accompanied me throughout my life and has gradually become the focal point of my artistic practice. My work explores the relationship between nature, emotions and memory. I am particularly drawn to flowers, landscapes and organic forms, which I gradually transform using colours, textures and an expressive paintbrush. Sometimes recognizable forms remain present, other times they dissolve into abstraction, leaving the viewer room to discover their own associations and meanings. I work intuitively and let the image evolve during the creative process. I often start with an initial idea, but leave room for spontaneity, chance, and transformation. Layers of color, rich textures, and expressive gestures gradually build up the surface as the painting develops its own character and direction. At some point, I become less of a creator of the image and more of an observer of the process unfolding before me.

For me, painting is a constant process of observation, discovery, and personal development. I believe that the most authentic works are created when the artist allows the creative process to question the original intent. The painting is never completely closed; it remains open to interpretation through the encounter with each viewer.

Through my work, I strive to create images that bring a sense of emotion, atmosphere, and connection to nature to contemporary spaces—works that invite the viewer to stop, look closer, and find their own story within them.
