On October 17, 2011, the Hamas militant group released Gilad Shalit, the IDF soldier who was abducted inside the Israeli border with Gaza. Held for 5 years, he was released in exchange for 1027 Palestinian and Israeli Arab prisoners. Though controversial, there is a Jewish tradition that the individual is valued as much as the group.

I am a native New Yorker and currently live and work in Hyde Park, New York. I am inspired by ideas that tie people together through their stories and lore. My abstract compositions examine mystical structures of archetypes which are shared by many cultures and function to enlighten and clarify the meaning of man's existence each with their own individual symbolism. I explore universal ideas of creation and heroism, hopes for the future, warnings of pending disasters and a petition for actively healing the world..
