About The Artwork
They say that artists should be far from politics and create beauty. But when children die in your country and the lives of people are broken, when cities are destroyed under bombs, when people lose everything that more than one generation has built. No sane person can remain silent. Honestly, I was supposed to finish this work at the end of February, but everything turned upside down. Working on this picture brought me peace, but sometimes it was very difficult to tune in to creativity, especially when the sirens sounded. This work is like a memory, a memory of a past life, of fellow citizens who lost their lives, of a destroyed country. This work is like hope, hope for a peaceful sky, for a warm, beautiful spring, without sirens and explosions, hope for victory and that we will restore everything.

Tatyana Gorgalyuk is a Ukrainian artist. Lives and works in Odessa, Ukraine. Tatiana has been drawing since childhood. She began to study the basics of painting and drawing in a children's art circle. And she continued her studies at art courses at the Grekov Art School. And in the creative workshop of the Honored Artist of Ukraine Arkady Viktorovich Rusin. Since 2011, she has been drawing in graphic technique, doing work to order. In 2018, I was trained in airbrush painting. I painted portraits with an airbrush to order. In 2020, I took 1st place in the 3rd International world championship in the airbrush nomination. Since 2020, she began to draw in the technique of oil painting. In 2022, she won first place in several international and national art competitions. “My works are admiration for the beauty and perfection of the world around us.”
