Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

Holocene extinction: the sixth mass extinction event caused by human activity. The yellow-eyed penguin and the little blue penguin live literally on the edge of survival in my area. I wanted to capture the precariousness of their situation in a modern conceptual work.

* This painting has multilayers of acrylic paint on canvas making this work highly textural, finished with a quality varnish for a protective finish. The canvas is stretched over professionally made wooden stretcher bars, the painting is ready to hang.

*All paintings will be packed by the art packing professionals Pack and Send to their international standards.
