About The Artwork

Black shuts up light and makes the object’s original color disappear. The light obtained from white becomes the start of the narrative with the image. My artwork is also one of the innumerable individual narratives. My story is about a family that started from marriage of couples. While the ordinary topics and ideas on taste of son, travel of father, and time of wife may derive empathy from many people, people might find them boring. I don’t want to care about it that much. My artwork involves natural acceptance of the fear of blurring boundaries from aging and attempt to feel the impression that couldn’t be felt because of the precise and skilled vision. Especially, I am interested in the color of light in the “Dawn”. The tuning for the whole at the moment right before emitting each color from the darkness shows something beyond senses and perfect balance that I sought throughout my artwork. - Artist’s Note
