About The Artwork
Originally a pencil drawing of myself sketching my portrait whilst holding my 3 year old in my left arm, she helped me paint this portrait in an abstract style. I asked her to paint certain areas at a time using any colour of her choice. I didn't at any time change what she painted and let mistakes take their own course, (much to my horror on some occasions!) The only area I managed to paint without her 'interference' was the back of her head and my collar. Painting this portrait was enormously fun for both of us and I recommend others trying it. There is the original sketch in my gallery if you are interested in seeing it.

Watch out for my next series of works West meets East as well as my 'modern twist' series. Born and raised in Lincolnshire, UK I write, draw, paint and create. I am a dreamer, constantly creating in my head. My imagination is like no other but I cannot imagine living my life without it! I am married and have 3 kids.
