About The Artwork

This work is on view at The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center Fine Art Program, Bethesda, MD, Feb.7 - May 1, 2021. "Fauna." (Panel #4, P.16.4), is part of a group called "Third Patterns." The “Third Patterns,” is named for a popular science term and used to describe the creation of a new structure. When two or more overlapping patterns in physical matter or space are combined or layered, a new one is created. A third pattern refers to the 'new life' structure' that is created. This acrylic ink painting is on a cradled birch panel. The inks are light-fast.
