About The Artwork
This is my first painting of a nude model from the back. It was not easy to work in such a large canvas size for me at that time, but very fascinating. The canvas was medium-grained and only glued with gelatin without soil, it was necessary to adapt to this too, as the oil paint applied to such canvas has the property of darkening the next day. I was inspired by the creation of this work by Feshin's paintings.

She studied at the Krasnodar College of Art and then entered the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg (I.E.Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture). Natalya specializes in landscape, portrait and still life paintings. She works in realistic tradition created on impression. The young artist has participated in numerous exhibitions across Russia. Her works are in collections of the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts, in private collections in Russia, Ukraine, China and England.
