Field of poppies. Watercolour Painting

Painting depicts the poppy meadow. Since mid-May, poppies are everywhere, along the road or there are even whole fields of these beautiful flowers. When I came home from work, I sat down and painted this landscape. I wanted to convey the atmosphere of lightness, warm and cheerful colours, a quiet bright day in early summer. The work is painted in watercolour, a technique that conveys freshness and spontaneity to the maximum. I used winsor & newton watercolour paints and 300g 100% cotton Fabriano satin art paper. Watercolour with passepartout and frame as pictured ready to hang. Quadro rappresenta il prato di papaveri. Da metà maggio, i papaveri sono ovunque, lungo la strada o ci sono anche interi campi di questi bellissimi fiori. Quando sono tornato a casa dal lavoro, mi sono seduta e ho dipinto questo paesaggio. Volevo trasmettere l'atmosfera di leggerezza, colori caldi e allegri, una tranquilla giornata luminosa di inizio estate. L'opera è dipinta ad acquerello, una tecnica che trasmette freschezza e spontaneità al massimo. Ho utilizzato i colori ad acquerello winsor & newton e la carta artistica grana satinata 300g 100% cotone Fabriano. Acquerello con passepartout e cornice come da foto pronto per essere appeso.
