Giorgi Kapanadze is a contemporary artist currently based in New York City. Giorgi is originally from Tbilisi, Georgia (Eastern Europe). He moved to the United States in the 1990’s after graduating Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. His work can be found in numerous private and public collections and has been seen in many exhibitions in United States and Georgia. His art is characterized by strong use of contrasting colors, geometric figures, and architectural shapes. Giorgi’s paintings demonstrate heavy influence of his passion for architecture and music.
