Flickering Gloom of Hope Painting

“Rocking of the Sea at Dusk" is a juxtaposition between the flamingo pinks and lavender purples of the twilight and the rumbling sea below. The gentle hand of the dark, depressive blue sea nurtures my sinful, intrusive thoughts. The brown, stabbing, jagged rocks were created over months of meticulous brushwork. The ballistic blue-green sea rumbles as it stubbornly creates black dark thoughts which recede in the gently smooth hands of the white waves. A delicate flick of the innocent acrylic white paint bitterly scatters over the conflicted crafted rocks as I shed a salty tears as the year of struggling to paint this masterpiece concludes.
