Flight Over the Downs Painting

Annie Taylor is a British artist, born and brought up in the South West of England. She studied painting in the States and resumed both her studies and her career in the UK in 2003 after a long gap. She now lives in both France and the UK and will be working primarily as a landscape artist in both countries.Annie's vibrant, sensual landscapes reflect her passion for the natural world. Her journey as a painter traces her reactions to form and femininity in landscape. Explosions of colour highlight the drama of the natural world and her intense passion for and absorption in each subject. The path is towards an ever deeper expression of thought and feeling that can be shared and not cocooned in artistic isolation and self indulgence. She works in oils and acrylics largely on canvas.
