This is part of a set of 3 pictures Called flowing through time. This one is flowing. I already had the drawings and wanted to frame them. Then I found these 3 old glass and wood frames with black canvas mats. I painted and cleaned up the frames. I matched the canvas' to the drawings.

Valerie was born in England and grew up in Nottingham, England. She has resided in the U.S. for the past 30 years, and is a mathematics teacher who loves art. Valerie spent a few years working part time as a potter at the local pottery. Here she worked on the wheel. Most of the pottery in her paintings is created by her. She has worked in many mediums and a few years ago discovered oils. She is now working on a series of still life called "All things bright and beautiful".
