ABOUT THE ARTWORK
An inspiration by a hedge of my backyard with backlight. It was not my intention to paint naturalistic interpretation of the seen. I started to paint out of my memory, then the painterly process took over and I allowed my fantasy, brush and paint the guidance. I encountered a visual journey into a microcosmos of biomorph shapes against bright blue daylight. By time it developed into a surrealistic structure consisting of elements partially three-dimensional, partially flat depicted. The artwork is signed and dated on the backside and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
