About The Artwork
Wildfires have become an increasing issue in Oregon. I was especially heart broken over the Eagle Creek fire that was started on September 2, 2017. It took place in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. The Columbia Gorge is still recovering from it to this day. In honor of the beauty of the Columbia Gorge, I painted "For the Sake of Trees". I think it captures the beauty of the Northwest.
