ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Who doesn't like summer and holidays, wishing it never ended. Or who wants to be forever chasing the sun, the warm carefree feeling this brings. In my thoughts I enjoy recalling the times and sights of my Summer. In this painting there are abstract and illustrative painted forms. Impressions of exotic poolsides with Cacti and Palm fronds, a coastal sandy path with Palm trees, the warm aqua ocean. Using various flowing and thick pops of texture, and mark making techniques have been used to build on this statement piece.
