About The Artwork
My paintings begin with a rough idea, but after starting, it's unknown where the painting will go. The original idea becomes buried under layer after layer of paint and subsequent ideas. Each layer is an amalgam of my senses (sight, hearing, smell, etc.). I walk away and return many times to work on a single piece. Sometimes over a period of days and weeks, years even. I don’t believe a work is completed until the partially obscured layers trigger the same emotional state and cognitive process I experienced in the precise moment they were created.

My work has been in group shows in Philadelphia, New York City, and at VH1 & MTV Projects. I currently live and work in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
