Four Moons Painting

In our daily lives, there exists only a single moon. But the moon has another meaning. In literature, for example, ‘1Q84’ by Murakami Haruki, a single moon represents a reality and a new world is open when two moons rise. The new world is all same, except the number of moons in the sky, which is the yardstick to distinguish between the real and new world. I expressed a common object, a moon, but I expressed four moons in a canvas. I depict a typical beach space we can easily get access, but it becomes the space and scene that we cannot see in our daily lives due to the number of moons. The four moons float on the sky, while the huge waves flood into the ground. It seems like real, but not real at all.
