"A woman of the world is eager to show her shapes and contours whether she walks, stands, sits or sleeps. Even when she is depicted in a painting, she wants to captivate with the charm of her beauty and thus take men away from the strength of their heart. ” Buddha "Fragile" series began to take shape in 2019 when my hand naturally began to outline the core of the fragility of the personal truth of the female collective unconscious. We are not talking here about the fragility of an eggshell or an expensive porcelain, but about that kind of vulnerability that can only spring from the assumption of pain through an endless capacity to love. No one can dispute the amalgam of emotions summed up throughout history by the feminine Eternal, emotions that have inspired, inspire and will continue to inspire artists in all fields. So, I offer my audience a piece of this inexhaustible source of masks of a fragility that will probably never be able to be defined, but only interpreted by mirroring the soul of each artist

Valentina Baicuianu, a contemporary Romanian painter, extends a compelling invitation to viewers for a profound plastic discourse centered around themes of living, reflection, self-discovery, and self-reconciliation. In a world where individuals often blend into the background and thought processes adhere to predefined patterns, Valentina's art serves as a poignant call to introspection. Throughout her artistic journey, Valentina has explored various routes and searches to discover a modern expression of portraiture. Having spent two decades in the corporate world and subsequently flourishing as an artist, she proposes a confrontation with her own experiences while transparently revealing her universe. Many of her works, indicative of her recent artistic evolution, now reside in private collections both in her native country and abroad. Valentina's creations unveil the wellsprings of inspiration, her quest for a distinctive artistic style, and the processes of abandonment and rediscovery encapsulated in the phrase: "Many of my works are personae, experiences, and emotions translated into a plastic metaphor that invites its viewers to undergo the decoding exercise." Valentina Baicuianu's notable recognitions include being a finalist in The 41st International Artavita Online Art Contest, receiving the Artist of the Future Award from Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, and earning the Artistic Achievement distinction at the Luxembourg Art Prize. Her insightful interviews have been featured in Art Reveal Magazine, ISSUE Insider Artists, and Contemporary Art Curator Magazine.
