"Freedom" is a captivating watercolour painting that transports you to a serene and tranquil landscape. The artwork showcases a gentle and idyllic scene, where a small river meanders in the distance amidst a scattering of trees, all beneath a breathtaking blue sky adorned with beautiful clouds. Above, a boundless blue sky stretches across the canvas, creating a sense of vast openness and freedom. The sky is adorned with wispy clouds, their shapes and textures adding an ethereal quality to the painting. The artist's masterful use of watercolors brings the clouds to life, capturing their softness and the subtle shifts in hue as they gracefully float across the sky. The overall ambiance of "Freedom" is one of tranquility and peace. The painting invites you to step into this serene landscape, where time seems to slow down, allowing you to connect with the gentle rhythms of nature. It is a place where you can pause, breathe, and find solace in the beauty that surrounds you. Through the medium of watercolours, the artist skilfully captures the essence of calmness and serenity in this picturesque landscape. "Freedom" serves as a gentle reminder to appreciate the simple beauty of the natural world—a sanctuary where the soft whispers of the wind and the gentle babbling of the river create a symphony that soothes the soul.

Self-knowledge is what my art gives me. I've learned to enjoy the process, that's what I like most about watercolor. I work mainly in the wet technique, because that's how watercolor shows its maximum potential. The result is always unpredictable, because the watercolor does half of the work and I like that bit of uncertainty that I can't change. I complete the painting and the painting completes me. The granularity of the pigments, the undertones, the airiness - that's why I love watercolor. I really like to experiment and paint not only with traditional watercolor tools such as brushes, but also with bags, napkins, sponges, etc. I like to paint on large formats as I feel more free to do so. The main idea of my art is to give people an opportunity to understand themselves and their attitude by looking at familiar things, to discover simple things anew. I draw on free subject matter, it's more important for me to feel what I want to depict, whether it's an apple or a street in Italy. I'm interested in exploring color combinations and their effect on people in my work. I try to capture the essence of what is being portrayed without being too detailed, leaving the viewer free to imagine. I'm inspired by the space around me, the way nature and man live together.
