When I went to see the beach the other day I was surprised how sunny it was and how warm it felt. We usually have severe wind here, it freezes you and you get cold in simply minutes, your fingers lose the warm flexibility and your eyes get watery. That day I saw the welcoming light from the sky and the sunbeams on the water of the Baltic sea and I could not help myself from getting this image in my mind and when I later got to my canvas and paints, I was so happy to express the warm feelings I experienced that moment. Light buttery strokes on the white canvas give such a fresh feeling! I make everything by hand in my studio in St Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia. This is one of a kind painting and can never be reproduced. The painting is ready to hang, the sides are painted, rendering a frame optional. And thanks a lot for shopping here! I am an artist from St Petersburg who loves putting emotions into art. Seeing through things that surround me gives me a flash every time I see something I want to put down on a canvas. I am a strongly expressive and impressive introvert so my paintings are just like the way I see the world - they are bright and kind, even when they were driven by something sad or melancholy. I also love traveling (well, like most of us!) so some of my artworks are deeply inspired by new places and people I see. What inspires me most as for creating art is most often the classical and neo-classical music alongside with movies. Well, I do watch lots of movies and TV-shows beacuse they sometimes can give so much color to the grey world around me; it seems to rain every day and all day long here in St Petersburg, so I love adding some extra color to the walls around me and I love how other people appreciate the colors on my paintings. I am so glad to see you all here in my tiny art shop. Hope you love what your eyes see!
