About The Artwork
To express the idea of a border between two worlds, I chose a panoramic canvas close to the marine format. The acrylic composed of Noir de Mars, Blanc, Gris de Payne and Vert de Hooker allowed me to quickly lay the 00 washes and glazes necessary for the transparency of the colors. As usual I chose a diffuse light that seems to emanate from most of the landscape, continuing to favor a central light source. I like to leave the spectator, because it can finally be a show, imagine what could hide behind the silhouettes on the horizon, what presence, what form of life could arise from it. There is here an expectation that does not say its name, it is implicit and perhaps unconscious but necessarily contemplative or even interrogative. https://youtu.be/Lsmn6KKSFD4
