About The Artwork
Frosty Night was inspired by Chicago snowy winters, when one day you wake up and the whole world is quiet and soft. To make this abstract painting I used pieces of paper, that were folded and glued to the black surface. With acrylic paint I added to the composition clarity and the illusion of depth. The overall ambiance of this artwork is meditative-like, calm, vivid and strong.

Finally in 1989 she moved to United States where she found her new home, and where she spread her wings as an artist. Kasia is an active member of the Chicago art community, showing and selling her works, doing commissions, and also, organizing art events.
