In Greek, "Arenius" is the Lady of Revenge, Uranus's blood spilled on Gaia when Cronus castrated him, and these three were born. The goddesses of revenge are described as terrifying creatures with features such as a burning soul, bat wings, and bloodshot eyes. The Greeks, out of fear or joke, called them "Eumindes" meaning kind.This contrast is attracted me. In the ninth hymn of Dante's Divine Comedy, these goddesses represented the tormented consciences of sinners.
