I painted a singular interpretation of my connection with nature by working with color, line, and texture. This abstract seascape painting with heavy texture brings a contemporary style to your room. For me, I see an abstract painting of an orca jumping out of the ocean waves. Surprising Facts about Orcas: The distinctive coloration of killer whales is a type of camouflage known as disruptive coloration. The color pattern of an animal contradicts the animal's body shape. Orcas are not actually whales; they are dolphins! This is an original abstract contemporary painting presented on a gallery wrapped canvas. Painting is stretched on a supported 1.5 inch thick wooden frame. Only high quality artist grade acrylic paint and mediums are used. The painting is hand signed and dated on the back.
