About The Artwork
One of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The gold on the monastery glows in the morning sun, and the artwork inside is exquisite. It's at the head of a wide beautiful valley, which I had dreamed about before went there. I loved the simplicity of the four monks in the lower right and the bright green plastic shopping bag that two of them carry between them. I painted this during the initial year of the pandemic - a prayer for serenity.
