I am a contemporary visual artist based in Dublin, Ireland. My work is characterized by vibrant colours, dynamic compositions, and a unique blend of realism and abstraction. I mainly work in watercolours and sometime pastels and oil colours. With over a decade of professional painting experience, I've balanced my artistic pursuits with a career in the corporate sector. Painting is not just a passion for me—it's an integral part of my identity that I've nurtured throughout my life. Despite not having formal training I have not been restricted with my creativity and the style I create my work. Nature serves as a boundless wellspring of inspiration for me, particularly the ever-changing landscapes that shift with the seasons. Additionally, I draw inspiration from the minutiae of everyday life, finding beauty and creativity in the smallest of trinkets and objects. My travels provide further inspiration, as I sketch new ideas while on holiday, infusing my work with diverse influences from the many places I've explored. I am known for my meticulous attention to detail and one can see that through my ability to evoke emotion through my art. While I'm equally passionate about my day job, most of my painting is done during evenings and weekends—a testament to my unwavering commitment to both my professional and artistic endeavours. My paintings are not merely aesthetic creations; they are narratives that I see and capture onto the paper. I am inviting my viewers to immerse themselves in stories untold through my painting.
