ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this current series of works Rodney “PANIC” Rodriguez tackles “Geometric-Abstractions”. The title of each piece is identified by its number. This one is "Geo-Abstract #1". All pieces are original and one of a kind meaning that no “prints/duplicates” have been made. They are painted on 16 x 20 inch stretched canvas, (*measures 17 1/2 x 21 3/4 framed) protected by a coat of varnish and signed by the artist on the front and back. Each piece comes accompanied by a “Certificate of Authenticity” from the artist. The artwork is a visual explosion of colors and shapes which saturate every corner of the canvas. Contrasting colors appear juxtaposed to one another, splashes and streaks come flying across the surface disrupting methodically painted lines which result in a harmonious symphony.
