About The Artwork

The gorgeous island of Gigha can be found among the Inner Hebridean group of isles in the Argyll and Bute area of Scotland. Take the small Calmac ferry from Tayinloan and wander across the islands picturesque white sands. The atmospheric grey sky overhead puts into contrast the small Calmac Ferry. Framed in a matt black synthetic surround incorporating a synthetic black slip. Painted in acrylics on canvas and finished in a satin varnish, artist signature on the front.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a Glaswegian artist painting mostly land, sea and cityscape scenes. I work in various mediums but mostly acrylic and watercolour where I try to capture my home town's beautiful architecture under typical moody skies and indeed carry on this approach with my Scottish sea/landscapes where I paint the Scotland I see and feel. I also love to travel around Europe and so I paint where I have visited and hope that my paintings connect with the viewer in the same way the vistas connect with me.
