The piece its a dreamy landscape of clouds, a dancer and a ghost plane.
The artist places the soft delicacy of the ballerena in contrast with the hard worn edges of the old DC3. For the artist this plane is significant as his father would tell stories of a faitfull event involving a DC3 and this has become entwinded as something secure and solid in this eternal feather light sky.

Jon Voss is a British born professional Artist, initially trained as an architect at the Bartlett in London, achieving the highest award of distinction for design. In 2004 Jon moved to Sydney Australia, where for the next 11 years he pursued his passion for art and design. Since 2014 he has been living in South France where he is creating new exciting works of sculpture, illustration and kinetic art. Jon's art is a considered juxtaposition. It’s both a boyish fascination with our heavily industrialized world, and an unapologetic adoration for our natural world. While these two passions typically live in constant conflict, within Jon’s art the barriers and lines between the two are blurred and distorted. “A large part of what I do comes from a love of machines and all things mechanical, however the form is borrowed from the immensely complex and elegant lines of nature. It is this unlikely but intriguing symbiosis of these passions that drives what I do”
