When I was in college, I will get certain time to think the future. I could lying one the sofa, thinking about the future. I hope that no matter what age of people, seeing the picture will remind their time that is full of vision to the world, trying to make the world more beautiful. The material is fine linen. the stroke that I combine the modern and classic. Ye Liu-Moynihan, born in the northeast of China and now based out of Rhode Island, is mainly engaged in creating oil paintings. She grew up in a family with a background in fine art, literature and publishing. She has had her paintings displayed at exhibits in China, Japan, South Korea, and the United States. In addition to her exhibits across the globe, Ye has been published in a variety of art magazines in China and the United States. Ye has always been inspired by Rembrandt van Rhein and Auguste Renoir, and has studied under Maggie Siner. Ye's training in classical painting began at 13 years old. She graduated from Chinese Artists high school and Northeast Normal University, majoring in art. After graduation, she became a professional art teacher. At 25 she was invited to be press editor for the Chinese Northern Women Publishing House. She held this position for 10 years until she immigrated to the U.S. in 1998. Upon arrival in America, she founded her own art studio in New York, specializing in portraits. She has kept this going through a couple moves, to Massachusetts and then to Rhode Island. In 2018 her husband Peter Moynihan was diagnosed with advanced Alzheimer's, forcing her into partial retirement. She now spends most of her time taking care of him, as the disease has progressed rather quickly. After struggling for a couple years to acclimate and achieve a caretaking-art balance, the creative gears are now kicking again, and she is grateful to be continuing her lifelong passion at full throttle.
