The Jumping series depicts an infatuated playing, jumping girl, who wears a floral dress and a straw hat that sometimes falls off her head. The artist was inspired by watching her niece, her games and her drive for non-stop movement. The dynamics of the action are expressed through the use of blurred outlines and broad brush strokes. The picture is full of contrasts and fluxes of light which help in conveying the movement. The work is painted in acrylic on canvas. It's signed.
