About The Artwork

I gravitate towards complexity . To the beauty of complexity . I 'm interested in chaos . I see in it the richness and complexity of contradictions , hence , as it were , the greater completeness of reality . "Girls on a walk." - I am interested in the fact that everything is dynamic here . This girl even has her mouth open . Maybe she 's saying something . And here is her hair - this explosion of everything ... The strokes around the girls imitate the movement of the air , the space around them . The space in which they move . They 're out for a walk . The space in which they exist - it 's all moving . It 's all vibrating . Behind her , some kind of a lump of something is unclear . These are swirls of air in the space where she just was . One girl is more cheerful , talkative . The other is reserved and thoughtful . More serious . And so I like the armfuls of their hair . Yes. Exaggerated . But I admire the contradictions within their volumes . Ankles and shoes are slightly visible . But all these are just hints , motives to awaken the imagination . And all this is essentially an almost abstract , chaotic image of the idea of girls on a walk . Shadow lines rattled under their feet . Everything flashes . Everything is alive . Everything is moving . Even what they stand on - the earth - is all living things . Shadow lines run along it . Their clothes - they don 't stand still either . When I look at reality , reality is no longer alone . Reality has ceased to be the only one . There are many realities at the same time . Apart from the fact that there is an inner reality in which they all connect . That 's partly why I 'm trying to convey that all living things formally consist of smears . But this is energy and matter that flies ... explodes ..., rises ...

My name is Andrey. Was born in 1969. I live and work in Voronezh, Russia . Graduated from Voronezh Art College. Was privately trained in restoration at the Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg. Since 1998, I have been working as a restorer of easel tempera paintings. I teach restoration at a theological school. At the same time, I am a passionate artist. I have collaborated with galleries, I have exhibited and sold my works. My artistic preferences were formed in a long-standing and great love for the art of the old masters. Much of my inspiration as a source lies in old European art. This is partly due to the necessity to know the old painting techniques utilized by me in the restoration. I love old European art. I rely on it in many ways . But today we feel the need, having a graft of classics, to think through the eyes of today. To see the world taking into account all the rich cultural and artistic experience, but still through the eyes of a modern person. Thus some of thr works you see have open quotations to the classic art. There is also a lot of searching for the plastic beauty of today's new eyes, already tainted by modern and postmodern. In my works, I am busy searching for my beauty. Inspired by the beauty of the world so exciting and vibrant.
