About The Artwork
I have always been massively inspired by arctic landscapes, be it dramatic mountains or the barren tundra. This painting has been created due to the accelerating effect that global warming is having on the planets glaciers. It is an aerial view of a glacial melt and breakup. I have used a mixture of acrylic paint, structure medium and sand to achieve texture, colour and depth. The painting will be shipped carefully and safely packaged.
