About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by a family trip to Glacier National Park. National parks have always been very important to my family and a large part of our summer vacations. The three figures are myself, (in red) and my brother and sister. It speaks to the relationship between us as siblings - I see myself as a guiding figure while my brother and I have also perhaps assumed protective roles as older brothers. I wanted to showcase the destruction people have on nature as well as their appreciation for its beauty.
