About The Artwork
Gold and silver acrylic paints on two old wooden panels. Lively structures due to signs of use on the wood and in the areas of the painting. The picture was completed on December 21, 2021 - winter solstice. The background is made up of many repeating collage elements made of colored paper. It acts like a frame for the two surfaces and gives them liveliness and warmth. The work exudes natural elegance and harmony. The painted surfaces change depending on the incidence of light. Vertical hanging is of course also possible. My inspirations in the creation were: - Gold and silver as symbols of prosperity - Fill the darkest time of the year with light and joy - Peace, centeredness and strength of heart The side parts of the work are also painted and there are two professionally sunk eyelets on the back so that it can be hung up immediately.
