Showed at the The Other Art Fair
Artist featured in a collection
On Paper size 20x20 cm (8x8 inches), the part shown in the black frame is 12x12 cm (4,7x4,7 inches). The abstract painting is about hope and always something golden to lie ahead of you... or you can just take it as a beautiful landscape - up to you! The painting comes beautifully framed (the frame shown is 20x20 cm/8x8 inches, a special black metal magnetic frame with floating glass, can also stand instead of being hung, won the red dot design award, museum quality). Of course you can choose a different framing and show more parts of the painting (one of the photos shows the whole sheet of paper as it comes) with a wider matte and frame. In that case you can use the black frame otherwise or can choose a price deduction without frame, just contact me if you wish that. Signed on the back with certificate of authenticity. Please note that colors may vary slightly on different monitors. Shipping costs cover professional packing materials, insurance, transport etc but not customs/duties. Shipping unframed works overseas is usually much cheaper so if you want to save money, ask me for the works unframed! © 2017 Gesa Reuter - All rights reserved

Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
