About The Artwork
“Grace On Fire” is a self torso painting that was created from a place of personal frustration and perceived inadequacy. At the time I was struggling with poor eyesight and shaky hand-eye coordination. Yet I still had the intense need to paint! For months everything I created was unworthy of my lofty expectations. So I put away my paint brushes and used an entirely different technique. The painting quickly emerged from my crippling doubts and blossomed into a personal reflection that I simply adore! Hence... Grace On Fire.
