Grand Canyon. Unvisited series: USA Acrylic paints and marker on a canvas, 50x70cm (55x76cm) This time I wanted to experiment somehow with technique and color, to make it more loose or something kind of (Actually, I’ve been experimenting a lot lately). So I decided to use acrylic rather than oil this time. And also this is not quite a usual topic for me - landscapes that I've not visited personally, in particular landscapes from another continent. I wanted to make them more abstract than I'm used to. So, it could be said this is how I perceive these species, having seen them many times on videos and in various photos. The Grand Canyon is basically something gorgeous. I have never seen such a clear linear type of mountains anywhere else. So I really wanted to work on them. This artwork was created with some extra side spaces for wrapping/framing purposes. So the main space of it is 50x70cm (face area), but with extra spaces - 55x76cm. It was painted on a linen canvas and is expected to be shipped rolled in a tube. But if you want it to be stretched on a wooden stretcher, this can also be arranged:-) Just write a Saatchi art curator.
