Darya Turchaniak is 27 years old artist of Belarusian origin based in Germany. Graduate from Cracow School of Art & Fashion Design (Poland) and School of Fine Arts for Youth named after A. Alontsev (Belarus). A contemporary independent young artist passionate about architecture, city life and traveling. Therefore, the subject of her paintings is focused on the above. Darya's art works are full of emotions related to particular places. She strives to ensure that the viewer can also immerse and feel the atmosphere of specific places. "I love plein air and painting while traveling. Even years later, when I'm looking at such paintings, all the memories come back: I hear the street musicians and feel smells from the nearby cafés. For me, this is the greatest form of time travel." In the paintings, Darya mostly uses watercolor and ink, as this media help her to achieve spontaneous and free lines and stains and also help to emphasize the character and transfer the whole story to paper.
