About The Artwork
The wood art piece "Guardian of the Magical City" depicts a fairy woman portrait with fantastic city, which is an extension of a fairy's head. Fantasy surreal art about magical fairyland. The fairy lady is its guardian and a part of the image of the city itself. In her left hand the fairy is holding the sun, the source of life of the magical city. The story uses elements of the "impossible worlds", i.e. images representing the impossible geometry of shapes. It is wood wall art work in the surreal vintage style. Handmade wooden frame continues the picture story, alluding to it in several 3D elements and symbols. Technique: complex composite technique, using oil, acrylic paint, gold pastes and greening lacquers. Size wooden picture with frame - 16 х 20 x 0.8in. Weight of the artwork no more than 1 kg.
