About The Artwork

My inspiration for this painting is about the body of the human race and the fear that we don't usually see in the real world., but that we can see in a painting. I hope viewers will see my work as a spontaneous work toward a feeling.

Edmonde Bizelli was born in Nice on the French Riviera, city of famous Marc Chagall, Henri Matisse, Arman and César the famous sculptor who was also a friend of her father. At her very young age, she woud have dinner with her father and César. She started to be interest and learm about art and techniques by listening to his many stories. As a teenager, she fell in love with the City of Cascais in Portugal where her father worked has an architect. It is there, in Portugal that she studied for 7 years at the American School of Lisbon and ventured into her first work of Art with acrylic on Canvas. With a Marketing degree from the university of Hudderfield in England, she then returned to Monaco where she worked as a Graphfc Designer for many prestigious international brands and new technologies such as drawing on tablets along with digital acrylic she became more and more passionate about working with mixed media to create her unique Art.Her exhibitions in Miami, New york, and washinghton as bring her a high notoriety in the US. Edmonde work mainly on iPad, using digital acrylics and other software to create paintings that are transferable to a variety of materials, like plexi, canvas, and wood. She say ' It is important to understand that working with digital acrylics is more or less the same as working with traditional acrylic paints. I use many of the same tools as used with the classical style of painting. I even add acrylic paint onto my printed canvases to ensure the best results for my printed colors". Some of her painting is one-of-a-kind, and I would say that this originality is what characterizes her as an artist.
