About The Artwork
The work was inspired by the notion of the grand space and the memory of Poole Harbour - the largest natural harbour in the world. The gestural painting is offset by collage elements with words that do not exist - the transient, the ephemeral. It is a painting more than a collage in the approach to the materials.
