ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Part of 'Remaining and Passing Landscapes' project. Reflections on the spiritual and physical voyages. Everyone knows what the metaphor “in open seas” means. But how to find a harbor in the vast expanse of sea, when you find yourself there?! The moon glade draws metrics on the water surface, or maybe marks depths.… Modern man, after all the consummatory temptations, is thrown back to himself and “his boat”. There is no escape from yourself if everything is balanced and acknowledged consciously, with the anchor thrown in the center of your body. In the harbor of your open seas. --------- The technique is acrylic and pastel on paper in the aesthetics of "Sediment Process" on which I have been working for several years. It is a concept for visual language, based on mathematical logic and linear perspectives. The expressive units are multiple sections, which mark the horizon in the object itself and the point of view. It focuses on the artistic gesture and the idea of the aesthetics of slow motion – an ethical opportunity to observe the deviation phase and more generally... for understanding and tolerance beyond the ego. --------- paper 320 gsm; Schmincke UV coating; mounted on Alu-Dibond, ready to hang /spacer h 2 cm/; framing on request
